The Federal Association of German Detectives (BDD) is the Association of Detectives with by far the eldest professional tradition in the country. It represents the profession in the public and to the authorities.
Only people of undisputed character, who live in decent and orderly conditions, who are not restricted in carrying out their professional duties and who have successfully passed their exams in subject related issues may become members in the BDD. The BDD provides, among other things, a price list for detective work, which is approved by the Federal Cartel Office. In the event of disputes or complaints, the special Arbitration Office at the Presiding Board of the BDD may be consulted. The Federal Association is a member of the following organisations: International Commission of Detective Associations (IKD), Vienna Central Office for the fight against unfair trading, Frankfurt Central Training Office in the Private Detective Sector (ZAD), Dusseldorf Office address: Christine-Teusch-Str. 30, 53340 Meckenheim Phone: +49 2225 836671, Fax: +49 2225 836672 |
